Steven F. Ball: Substantial Experience With Land Titles
For more than 30 years, I have devoted my career to something I love doing: Helping people review and clean up their title reports, and saving them money along the way. My goal is to give you the most positive experience you can have by ensuring your title is as clean — and your expenses are as low — as they can be.
A Career In Title Work
Title work is all I have been doing since 1979, when I began my career with First American Title Insurance Company. At First American, I went from searching titles to Subdivision Manager, a position I held for more than 20 years. In 2004, I became Senior Vice President of National Homebuilder Services, working with clients in California, Arizona, Colorado, Texas and Nevada. I then did commercial and subdivision work for Fidelity National Title before opening my own practice, Steven F. Ball Consulting, LLC, in 2011.
From my law offices in Laguna Hills, I represent builders, developers and lawyers throughout Southern California and states west of the Mississippi in title review and clean up, due diligence work and analysis of title insurance reports, ALTA surveys and plotted easements. I also provide expert witness services for title cases. Learn more about my experience by visiting the following page:
What You Can Expect From Me
I like to believe that the positive relationships I build with my clients are from a combination of experience and trust, knowledge and dedication. Here is what you can expect from me:
- I’ll keep costs down. In part because I have significant experience in title law, I can do things quicker and for less.
- I’ll work hard to make your title as clean as it can be. I have been doing this work for many years. I know what to expect and where to look for land title issues, as well as how to negotiate deals when issues are found.
- I will turn things around quickly. I’ll turn things around within a few days, compared to a week or more with some larger firms.
- If your case is challenging, I can take it. My experience means I am not afraid of difficult cases that other attorneys shy away from.
